Small group class styles

Gentle - You’ll explore mindful movements that are designed to nurture the whole body, class is taught in a way that is great for beginners so that you can build body awareness and encouraged to relax and learn more about yoga.

Movement + Meditation - This class style is another great class for beginners or those wanting a deeper sense of breath work and meditation. We’ll open with 10 minutes of a guided meditation, 30 minutes of gentle movements, 10 minutes of dedicated breath work and a longer rest shape that invites you towards a deeper state of meditation.

Slow Flow - This practice links shapes together at a slow pace so you can focus on alignment without feeling rushed. Great for those returning to the yoga mat or transitioning from gentle with the hopes of better balance and building confidence.

Strong Flow - This class style is about feeling stronger not going faster. Great for those looking to build strength while still being mindful. You’ll feel energized and we’ll progressively explore shapes that maybe you’ve always wanted to try, I bet you'll surprise yourself with how capable you are!

Release + Recover - This class style is designed to alleviate tight muscles and free up sticky joints great for an active recovery or a stress release most of the class is floor focused. We’ll spend time stretching, use tools and techniques that address the connective tissue to help release muscular knots and stress, if you are familiar with yin yoga there are qualities that are similar to that style of longer floor holds with the support of blocks.

Note - The Yoga Room is a beginner friendly studio, classes are taught in a way that is accessible to everyone and encourages clients to honor their body and its unique needs.
